Account and associated data
Delete your AsanaAI account
The fastest path is built into the Android app. If you cannot use the app, send a verified request from the email address connected to your account.
Delete in the Android app
- Open Profile.
- Select Delete your account.
- Review what will be deleted and continue.
- Reauthenticate with the Google account or email/password method currently connected to AsanaAI.
- Confirm Delete permanently.
A network failure before 202 Accepted does not sign you out or erase local data. Use Retry; the app reuses the same idempotency key so that a lost response cannot create a second deletion job.
After acceptance, the app opens a private status link, cancels account-owned background analysis, clears Room, private media, results, preferences and caches, resets analytics and crash identity, signs out and finishes local cleanup.
Request deletion without the app
- From the email address connected to your AsanaAI account, send an email to [email protected] with the subject AsanaAI account deletion request.
- Support replies with a one-time challenge. It is valid for 24 hours.
- Reply from the same account email and include that challenge exactly.
- After verification, an operator starts the same durable deletion process used by the app and sends the safe status link.
Do not send a password, ID document, bank information, authentication code from another service, photos or other sensitive attachments. If an email address is not associated with an account, the response will not confirm whether an account exists.
Data that is deleted
- Firebase Authentication account and sessions.
- Firestore profile, custom poses, nested pose documents, diagnostic answers, transcriptions and rate-limit record.
- Firebase Storage and Google Cloud Storage objects under the account's pose and diagnostic prefixes, including object versions.
- MongoDB user cache, user pose collection, conversation and voice history, prompts, responses, images and related GridFS audio.
- Application-created OpenAI Files. Image Responses use
store:false. - Private app files, Room records, preferences, caches and telemetry identity on the device that accepted the request.
Temporary records and provider timing
- AsanaAI aims to clear first-party storage within seven days.
- The service holds encrypted UID and normalized email only while needed, never more than 63 days, and removes them on completion.
- A fence and HMAC tombstone remain for 30 days after completion to prevent restored or delayed writers from recreating the account. Technical results remain for the same period without email, content or media.
- A public receipt remains for 70 days from the request and contains only a random request ID, safe status and dates.
- OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. Crashlytics deletion is typically processed within 24 hours. Analytics deletion processing can take up to 63 days.
Provider acceptance proves that a provider request was received; it does not claim immediate physical deletion. The overall deletion deadline shown in the receipt is 63 days.
Delete only a custom pose
Open Poses, select the custom pose and delete it. This does not delete the account. Diagnostic copies created for processing are still removed automatically within 30 days.
